A "Non-Traditional" Christmas Card . . .

Hey hey hey!! Happy Thursday! Can you believe it's DECEMBER already?! And it's time for our very last challenge of the year over at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! Our theme (as always) is "Anything Goes" . . . and this month our optional theme is . . .

Non-Traditional Christmas Cards

I've had this cute little Mo Manning digi for a few months . . . and decided it's perfect for this month's challenge!! What do you think? Non-Traditional enough?!
This image is called "Skateboard Schoolboy" . . .  and is available HERE in Mo's online store. He's perfect for our 11 year-old grandson, Brody, who lives in Arizona (where there is no snow!) But there IS plenty of sunshine for "skateboarding"!!!
I colored this image with Copic Sketch Markers and a variety of Caran d'Ache, Faber-Castell, and Prismacolor pencils!! Here's a side view . . .
My Card "Recipe" . . .
Image printed on Cryogen metallic white cardstock
Real Red cardstock: Stampin' Up
Kraft cardstock: from local crafting store
Digi DPs: "Festive Trimmings" available HERE at Nitwits
Sentiments, bells, rhinestone stars, & twine: my stash
Sentiment tags: Lili of the Valley

A look at the inside . . .

And finally . . .
I had great fun making this for our sweet Brody! I can't wait to mail it to him!! (He loves getting "snail mail"!) Thanks so much for stopping by . . . and, as always, for your kind comments!! Please be sure to check out the "Anything Goes w/optional theme: Non-Traditional Christmas Card" challenge going on all this month over at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! See you soon!! xo
